Wanted to Love

These sandals were so cute and *immediately* comfortable! I was super happy to buy them. However, after a week, or so, the "stitching" along the side started coming away from the platform. Additionally, the open back of the buckle resulted in my sandals to get intertwined with the weaving on the front strap. I returned them to the store, but still wanted them, and found another pair online; a couple of weeks later I received the new pair. I had this pair for about 6 weeks before they quite literally started falling apart. I heard a flip flip clomping sound and looked down to see the upper sole practically entirely detached from the platform. Beyond disappointed, as I liked them so much! I even went to a cobblers in hopes of fixing them, but they said because the platform wasn't natural materials, instead plastic, there was not proper stitching to fix or glue that would hold the top sole. Anyway, despite Clarks' reputation for high quality, it appears that has changed.

Surprised

I bought these sandals for a wedding and to have a dressier pair of sandals for the summer. I have TERRIBLE feet and these are so comfortable. I wore them the whole day and didn’t have any issues. I just went to look at another pair of Clarks, but they are sold out. At least I have these!
