Cap is stuck and there is no sharpener

The cap is stuck and I could not get it off. I bought 3 of these and 2 of them were stuck. I also don't like that there is not a sharpener on the cap like the old ones.

I have been using this product for years. It's getting harder to find. It might be discontinued. It's a great cream on- old traditional pencil.
