The grey faux fur cover comes with a weighted insert that has box quilting to prevent the polyester and glass bead filling from shifting. Ten inner ties and a zipper closure on the faux fur blanket cover keep the insert secure. The cover itself is machine washable for easy care, while the insert needs to be spot cleaned. not good

the beads all fall to the sides of the blanket, so the beads sit on the bed while the non-weighted blanket lays over you as a non-weighted blanket. It's a soft blanket, but not a good weighted blanket.

Amazing blanket. Soft and furry, great weight of 12 pounds, I didn’t want the heavier ones. Love that I can wash the outer cover!

Won’t stay evenly weightef

Beads all fell to bottom first time I pulled it up.

Dream turned nightmare

This started off as a dream blanket and then turned to a nightmare when I went to wash the cover. The cover shrunk even though I followed the manufacturers instructions. It is impossible to get the weighted insert back into the cover since you need to tie each section. It would have been better if it snapped into place. I am going to call Macys and ask for them to take this back.
