Firm but comfortable.

This bed is very comfortable. We got a firm bed and it has held up very well. The sides seem firm yet it's comfortable to sleep on.

Great bed

Great bed, we are really happy with it. Glad we didn’t get the pillow top so we can “flip” the bed. I like the mix of coils and memory foam. Totally would recommend.

Papa Bear’s Bed

We tried the anchor island firm mattress for about 30 days. The mattress is very firm, excellent edge support, feels like an exceptionally supportive, solid, and quality mattress. Unfortunately it was way too firm for me (135lb side sleeper) even with our natural mattress topper from birch, although I appreciated the minimal motion transfer. My 170lb all-positions sleeper husband really liked the support and lack of movement/give to the mattress. I do not recommend this mattress if you are a side sleeper; it felt so hard on my body. We have exchanged for a medium PT and are pretty happy with our final decision.
