Poor craftsmanship lacking Quality Control.

The material on this set not fully disclosed. It’s about 50% man made woods and fiber boards. The beautiful display was made in China 2014 but new sets are made in Viet Nam. The order placed in June, but not delivered till late August. All pieces had major manufacturing defects and damages. Unfinished surfaces, cracks, glue beads, bad joints and putty, dresser/nightstand drawers not closing, Foot board colors unmatched. Very TOXIC smell unusable room for months. Exchanges were no better. I will not recommend this set.

MOTHERS DAY GIFT

I PICKED OUT THIS SET FOR MY WIFE FOR MOTHERS DAY. I ASKED HER TO TRUST ME AND LET ME USE MY JUDGMENT. I HAD THE SET DELIVERED THE DAY BEFORE MOTHERS DAY WHEN SHE WAS AT WORK. WHEN SHE GOT HOME I COVERED HER EYES AND LED HER INTO THE BEDROOM. WHEN I UNCOVERED THEM SHE LET OUT THE LOUDEST SHOUT FOR JOY AND SAID " YOU DID AN EXCELLENT JOB HONEY." THANKS MACYS

BEAUTIFUL!!!

This set is well-made and looks great! The customer service at Macy's is excellent and that is appreciated especially at a time when customer service at most companies does not seem to be a priority. In addition, the two delivery men did a great job navigating two flights of stairs. All-in-all I am very pleased and have never had a problem with Macy's.

GORGEOUS BEDROOM SET!!!

We recently received our Bordeaux II bedroom furniture and it is just beautiful!! The wood is dark with various hues. The lines and curves on the pieces are dramatic but in a very classic, elegant way. The pieces are well made and the top drawers of the chest and dresser are lined with gorgeous brown velvet. This furniture is heavy and sturdy and perfect for our room with the colors that were chosen for the walls - light green, off white and metallic copper, gold and bronze. We were happy with the delivery service which went smoothly. The Macy's delivery men were polite and courteous and knowledgeable in their job. We absolutely LOVE our set.
