DIY Ottoman - Made in China

You have to assemble the pedestal legs before you use it. Spoiler Alert - there is a red streamer to the outside of the packaging which means you have to unzip the fabric cover underneath to extract the legs and bolts.

Fraud

I am rating Macys service in the sale of this couch because I bought it in gray, but twice they delivered it twice in beige. The company says it must sit in my house another week until an inspector can come to verify that it is the wrong color. I have three dogs and a couch wrapped in plastic I am supposed to keep them off of? One customer service person also said that since it was delivered it cannot be returned. Another said I will incur a restocking fee if it is sent back. Macys this is fraud. The first picture below with the plastic is what they delivered. The second picture is pewter, the color I ordered, and the color of my other furniture and this couch is not pewter.

The closest Macys is 60 miles away, so it wasca leap of faith to purchase the Chesterfield couch, loveseat, chair and ottoman without having a chance to try them out in the store first. I am absolutely thrilled with the quality of the furniture and beauty of the leather. I also love the firmness of the cushions and the depth of the seats, which allow you to sit up straight, instead of slouching like so much furniture made today. The quality of these pieces will allow them to be used in our den for decades.
