Very disappointed with this rug. The colors matched our furniture so we thought it would work. As was said in other posts it is very difficult to vacuum this rug. Threads started sticking up almost right away, sometimes about 1/2 in in several rug places. And lots of rug fuzz that need to be cleaned off. We kept it less than a week and realized that it could only get worse as we used it. We returned it. It is of very poor quality for a store like Macys to sell it. Heavily recommend that macy's discontinue this rug vendor.

I love the texture and the color and the fact that it is wool. I've encountered a problem with vacuuming, though. It's hard to vacuum as it seems the suction is great, and keeps the vacuum from moving easily, even if I use the no-beater setting. So, for now, I'm using the hand vacuum. This is ok for this small (8x10) rug, but I hope to find a more convenient solution soon.

The rug is gorgeous. But, it is not colorfast. So, it doesn't work in my family room where people spill and I need a rug that's easy t o clean up.
WORST RUG EVER!
Bought this rug in May 2017. It was about a month before I realized that it was a mistake. The rug began to fall apart along the edges. Long strings of thread can be easily pulled out. You can't use a vacuum on it and I was careful when cleaning it. This rug was in our living room under the coffee table. When our kids would sit on the rug they complained that strange plastic threads from the rug would poke them. Even with gentle use this rug quickly lost its original appeal. Less than a year later and the carpet has buckled in two different areas leaving long ugly creases and practically impossible to lay flat. Even on sale this is a huge waste of money!! Don't buy it, you can have mine for free!
DO NOT BUY THIS RUG
This rug is perfect if you never intend to vacuum. The salesperson never told us not to use a regular vacuum and it was destroyed within a month. I complained and got a replacement. I am only vacuuming with an attachment and the the rug is still pulling and ripping. Terrible quality.

My husband and I love this rug. We needed to replace an old, stained greige rug in the living room and wanted something with more color and that would matched another rug in the open floor plan dining area. This rug works really well with the multi-striped rug in the other room. This rug offers an interesting, subtle mix of black, green and multi-blues woven together. The overall blue color looks great in the space.
Started falling apart right away
I loved the look of this carpet. Unfortunately it started falling apart within a week. The carpet fibers kept coming out and not due to any abuse or misuse. We returned it thinking it was a defective carpet and we would just reorder another one. We looked at the sample at the store and found that the fibers were pulled out of that too. I am amazed that Macy's even offers this carpet.
