The Dansk Kallan dinnerware set is beautiful! I bought two sets because Dansk is always high quality. The dishes are on the heavy side which helps to prevent chipping and have a long life. The dinner and salad plates have a lip on them so food stays on the plate. The bottom is not glazed on the dinner and salad plates so shouldn't be left soaking for an extended time but doesn't bother me. The set is dishwasher and microwave safe. I also bought the 3 fruit bowls (very cute) and the large serving bowl. I am very happy I made this purchase.

Excellent for everyday use!
This set of plates are excellent, very settle color and pattern without being completely white. Each of the pieces feel sturdy and on the heavy side. I love it for everyday use! It's microwavable and dishwasher safe.

I really loved the rustic look of these dishes, I'd originally purchased the ones by Lucky Brand but in comparison to these; these are the Hit! Substantial in weight, light colored, the gray trim, the flecks and the mugs however small in size are included equals a win~win for me! Get these or regret when they are all sold out!

The dishes are very attractive, easy to wash in the dishwasher. The bowls are the right size for soup. The serving bowls are very large

Love the heaviness of these, they just feel expensive and elegant. They seem like they won't chip easily. Love the edge detail, how the side of the plate is raised so food doesn't easily side off the side of the plate but they're still flat and have that classic look. I only wish the coffee mugs were a little larger because I like bigger cups for coffee. The bowl size is good (I saw another review that said they're too big) and I also bought the smaller fruit bowl set and the large serving bowls to match.
Nice but ...
Nice simple look. But the fact that the dinner plates are unglazed on the bottom means they don't slide easily as do most dishes. And more importantly, the info that came with says you can't SOAK the dishes! Not one to always put things straight into the dishwasher, this may prove problematic!
