Awesome Figure

As soon as my son saw Lightyear , he became obsessed. He already loved all of the toy story movies, so it was no surprise to us that he loved this. He has since developed a love for the new outfits buzz has. He also likes the fact this figure is poseable. He takes him, and Zurg everywhere. He likes to make him sit down, and enjoys moving him around. Our Lightyear is well loved, and was worth the purchase.

Not my kids cup of tea

While my kids like Toy Story and Buzz Lightyear, I believe they have outgrown this type of action figure. There is nothing wrong with it, but the toy did not hold their attention. I’ve found that this is their attitude with other action figures made similarly.

Fun for under 7 yr olds.

My 10 yr old kid expressed no interest in it. However, my 7 yr old still wanted to play with it. It was pretty fun, lots of moveable joints to put the doll in different poses and positions. The joints are easy to bend.

Great Toy for a Pixar fan

We got this toy for our 6 year old son. He’s been a Toy Story fan since he was very little. He wasn’t aware that there was a Buzz Lightyear show coming out, so this toy definitely got him excited for the new series. Getting this toy definitely renewed his interest in playing with the rest of his Toy Story action figures.

Imaginative

He takes some imagination as he is an action figure. But luckily my child has a wild imagination and Buzz is now married to Princess Tiana. They have lovely days outside when Buzz is home. Buzz flies to space quite frequently to save the world from a massive astroid.

Lightweight figure with great range of motion

I’m so impressed with the new Buzz Lightyear line from Mattel! The figures are lightweight (so if your little one drops or tosses one, it’s unlikely to be broken or cause damage to flooring, people or pets) and have an amazing range of movements. These little toys are so easy to manipulate into a variety of positions. The size is perfect for a variety of ages, including toddlers/preschoolers who do better gripping and manipulating larger toys/parts. Moms who prefer to have their kids provide their own sound effects for a more imaginative experience will note and appreciate the lack of sound (and accompanying buttons and batteries). Highly recommended.

Must Have For Buzz Lightyear Fans!

I am blown away by this collection. The Buzz Lightyear figure is not your typical Buzz from Toy Story. We now have the story behind Buzz’s journey to save the world, and this figure helps to tell that story. I love the articulation! It’s very poseable, and easy for my boys to play with. The size is larger than the Toy Story 7”, but my kids didn’t have any problem with adding this new Buzz into their collection. Great value, excellent quality, and just all around awesome figure!
