I love,Love, love this farmhouse table. Looks very classy. There are some imperfections in the wood but that makes it look one of a kind. It has a nice finish very and there are no splinters (like one other reviewer said). One solid piece and easy to clean. I bought two matching end chairs and two benches to match. It can seat 8 people easily. Can't wait to have a dinner party soon.
Table has bowed
We have owned this table for less than two years and the table top has bowed. We loved this table when we first got it, other than the rough and sharp spots in the wood on the top and the benches. No not wear any clothing you really like while sitting at this table - it is likely to be snagged! We noticed recently that the table top has bowed significantly, it is now more than half an inch higher in the middle of the table than at the ends. I am so incredibly disappointed that a table of this price is so poorly made.
garbage
i purchased this table bench and chairs combo a little under 3 years ago. once it was delivered we had to get a new tabletop because the "rustic" top feeling was so uneven a plate wouldn't stay balanced. over time so many other issues popped up. the chairs make so much noise getting in and out of them. we just thought they were breaking in, but they were actually just breaking. we noticed a chair snapped at the seating part. my husband and i are fit normal weight people. the cushions on the chairs also began to sink after a couple months of use. i wish i could get my money back.
Love it
Perfect design. We have been looking for a dining set that was not to formal. The stressed wood is beautiful. I highly recommend especially if it will be your main dining area. Kids will not be able to destroy this piece.
Overall good
Table is sturdy and is a nice value for the price. It is great for an eat in kitchen where it could get some wear and tear. The reclaimed wood look is nice and the chairs are comfortable.
