The dishes are beautiful; manufacture inconsistent
I purchased one 4-piece place setting in the past and loved it. I then purchased a box containing 12 pieces set for 4 people. The single large plated originally purchased was slightly larger than those in the 12 piece set. Recently I purchased this 12 piece set,the plates in it look like those in the 12 piece set from before, but are slightly larger again. The issue is noticeable, because the slight increase in size makes an upper kitchen cabinet door not close properly. I can't figure out why they large plate size is not consistently the same size since supposedly I am ordering the "same" dishes. The dishes are beautiful, but the manufacture seems in consistent
Simple and pretty but...
The plates are too large for my dishwasher! I love the look of them for everyday, but they are a little too big. I just repainted my kitchen and was looking for a simple classic white plate. The price was right so I will keep them, but wish I had gotten something else.

there are hundreds of shades of "white"
Given the many shades of white the dishes appear to be close to a true white. I wanted to keep things simple and thought these to be perfect. Ten days later 3 sets arrive and some mugs. Color is more of a creamy white. The description should be described better. Ok I could live with it, however many dishes have small scratches and silver ware marks. Were these used? Now I must return them. It is a hassle and now I have to continue my search fro simple white dishes.
