Lovely, rich appearance

First off, the color is lovely, the pattern is lovely, Hotel Collection is beautiful quality! The fabric sheen is lovely but is a velvet-type, and it isn’t velvety soft. When rubbed in the opposite direction, gives a dimpled or dotted look because the fabric has a nap to it. See photo where I tried to get the smooth & rubbed directions. It’s not a flaw and may not bother someone else. It has a lovely, rich appearance otherwise.
