This is a lovely piece but the finish is poor. Some areas had cement or plaster still stuck to the plate and some areas had marble or metal showing visible sanding marks. No noticeable from afar but please magnify the image as some of the imperfections are noticeable on the picture above. For a somewhat expensive piece this was a big disappointment. I did not return because of the size and weight and the imperfections were noticeable on the listing so it was by fault for failing to pay close attention.
Beautiful marble but defective glue
The marble with inlay is beautiful but the lazy Susan base is not big enough to handle the diameter and weight of the marble top. When I received this (in a very well packed box with styrofoam) the glue that secured the marble top to the base had come loose. The indentation drilled into the marble to secure the attachment rod to base was too shallow and secured with insufficient glue. I thought I could glue it myself but quickly realized that even with the proper glue the design was poor. This would only work with a larger diameter Lazy Susan base to hold the weight of the marble top. Unfortunately I'm returning this.
Great for a large or small party.
The Hotel Collection Hexagon Lazy Susan was a great buy and the ideal gift for my daughter and her husband.
