Beautiful Dining Room
My husband and I read all the reviews on this project and were a little dismayed. So we went to the local Macy’s store to see it in person. We decided to purchase the product and it was delivered today. I am so happy I purchased this table and chairs! It is absolutely beautiful, the quality is exceptional, the workmanship is excellent, it arrived in perfect condition with no scratches, dents, rips, or tears. I would definitely purchase this dining room set again! Wish I could post a picture of it!
I do not recommend this dining set
I ordered this table and 8 chairs in November. In the first delivery, the table was blemished and so it went back. We were waiting for 2 of the 8 chairs and when they came in, also marred. They went back. Second table blemished. It went back. Second pair of chairs had one blemished again. Finally kept the 3rd table and all 8 chairs looked fine after 3 tries. Then, we started using it. Two chairs have now broken (it's only been a full 4 months that we've had them). One leg on each of two chairs have snapped where they are and they are super wiggly. I felt this set is very inferior. I got rid of a set I had for 30 years that took years before it began showing wear. I would not recommend buying this unless you want it to sit in a room solely for decor. It's not meant to be used regularly, that's for sure. Macy's is recalling it all and I am getting a full refund.
Love this set
I was looking for something to match my new remodeled kitchen, not only did i find it but the price was great! I got the whole Kelso 7pc Dining Set. The delivery men were very professional they even put felt little pads to the legs of the chairs and table. The only thing that I was not happy with was that the chairs were not wrapped with plastic and some got wet with the snow melting from the roof of their truck when they got them out. Otherwise we love this dining room set. I am ready to get the buffet side board to complete the set. R & A Villarreal

The table and 8 chairs arrived in perfect condition! It's beautiful in our kitchen - many compliments received! The Macy's delivery guys couldn't be more professional or careful when they brought in and set everything up! Great overall experience ... fair price!
Love our new Dining Set
After much research, we decided on the 7 piece Kelso dinning set from Macys Home Store. We ordered it on Saturday and it was delivered the following Wednesday. My daughter had just put her twin babies to sleep and I asked the delivery men if they could set up quietly. Not only did they honor my request, but they were fast and everything was clean when they left. Jesus and Vladamir were our delivery men and were courteous and friendly. Top of the line delivery service! Not a single scratch or defective piece. We love this dinning set. It gives us a much needed updated look and comfortable yet elegant seating. Our salesman called a few days later to see if all went well. Great customer service!
Beautiful-like the Kelso set I saw at the store
I purchased the Kelso 7pc set during the last qtr of 2016. A very large furniture chain in my area had a nearly identical dining room set on sale for about $50 less. So I compared by visiting the large chain store and the nearest Macy's which had a floor model. Like I said, these dining room sets were nearly identical but upon closer inspection the Kelso at Macy's was much more attractive and solid looking. The fact that the Kelso is a very handsome dining room set and appears to be well made yet with a much lower price than comparable sets was what sealed the deal for me. Moreover, the salesman, Tracy, was very pleasant, knowledgeable, patient and professional- not at all pushy! I placed the order but was told there was no stateside stock available. A previous customer's review had an issue with the set that was delivered to them because it was damaged. So I knew that since my set had to be crafted and shipped from Vietnam there was a chance I could have the same problem. Consequently, I went ahead and took the gamble but hoped for the best. 2 weeks later my Kelso arrived and was delivered. After the delivery gentlemen assembled my Kelso I was overjoyed that there was no damage nor a single scratch! Thank you Macy's-I got a bargain price for a terrific looking dining room set.
