Do Not Recommend
its very uncomfortable and it looks like I had this chair for years. I have this chair since September 2020, but hardly sat in it until recently. I had an inspector come out to check it out and said there was nothing wrong with it. You can not sit on this chair longer than an 1/2 an hour. Very Very uncomfortable. I don't recommend this chair it looks good but thats about it. Very disappointed with this piece of furniture.
Moderne Chair Upgrade...Really.
I love the modern silhouette and the enveloped feeling of the chair but it doesn’t feel....TOO big—just big enough without feeling like (pardon the expression) a recliner you’d find in a frat house or a forgotten bonus room. The shape and lines are informed by simplicity and sophistication. These are the reasons I dig this power recliner. I wish it did have lumbar support, but this chair is a new favorite.
Worth getting the set.
This chair is wonderful, high quality, very comfortable and looks modern with traditional style. It works so well with the matching sofa.
Another good investment
I received both the 46" and the 87" power recliners.Both are as comfortable and as beautiful in my living room, as they were in the showroom. Thank you Macy's for offering a very good product and thank you Mr. Herman Paul for facilitating my purchase. Good job.
Doesn’t recline five months later
I received this recliner on 12/31/18. It stopped reclining on 6/7/19. Macy’s is sending a technician on 6/14/19. If it cannot be repaired on the 14th, I will have to wait for parts and another technician for who knows how long. I’m so tired of paying my hard earned money on items that are not good, quality products. I don’t know what the end result will be but I am frustrated that a company like Macy’s did not give me the option to return this defective chair that does not work after only five months of moderate use.
4 stars for the look of the chair only
I got this chair delivered 2 weeks ago and the chair had toxic fumes coming from it into the whole house. I couldn't use it and called to have it inspected. The inspector said it was glue spray that was used inside the chair to fix something haphazardly that was torn. So for 2 weeks now the fumes have made our eyes sting and the smell close to insect spray/chemical plant has been in my living room till they pick it up today. If you smell something bad that is beyond leather smells, ask to return or exchange your chair. Also the hand work in making the chair is a little lopsided overall. Like the top head rest sits crooked at the top rather than straight (level). Make sure you check out quality of this chair and also any toxic smells that shouldn't be there. I don't know if the new chair will have the same problems but hopefully the warehouse or manufacturers haven't pulled any more flawed procedures in construction or repair. Also the delivery team is subcontracted so not the best.
Love this Chair
Bought this chair online without sitting in it. This chair is not made for taller people! I am 5'2" and it fits me perfectly. That said my sons who are 5'11" are not comfortable in it at all. The color is bone more than light tan. When all is said and done I love this chair
