After 8 or 9 months, I had to increase the temperature setting to have the same heat level. About a week after the one year was up, the blanket failed.

If you ever sat down on a cold chili day in your car heated car seat you will know what I am talking about. I purchased it for my office, because I just need that extra warmth I laid it over my chair and set it to low and it does wants having your tushy nice and toasty warm.

I bought this bc our electricity bill was through the roof with heating. Used this for a 6 month winter and it never failed. It kept me super warm. The high setting was too warm, I kept it at medium. I also always had another blanket over this heated throw so that may have also been why it was so warm. The microplush it super soft. I washed it a few times, followed the directions, gentle cycle and hang dry and it was fine. My only complaint it that to turn it on, you just push a button... but if someone or a pet steps on that button, the blanket turns on and no one knows. SO from this, I just unplug the blanket when not in use.

Purchased this for my husband who was recently diagnosed with cancer and seems to be cold all the time. He says this throw is perfect as the temp can be adjusted to meet his need, and he does not have to worry about falling asleep as it shuts off by itself.

This is a huge family favorite! I have purchased for a few years as Christmas gifts in various colors. It is pushy & warm even IF NOT switched onto HEAT setting. Washes & dries well using gentle wash cycle & cool water. The family joke is that it was SO popular that when I gave one/1 as a gift THERE was a fight over who would get to use I! I have purchased 2 for my own home. I cuddle ip with IT watching t.v.. Great value, great item @ MACY'S!

I bought this on a whim during the Cyber Monday sale and I have zero regrets! I've used this almost every day since receiving it in the mail. It's lightweight, but cozy; it keeps you warm whether you have the heat settings on or are just using it as a regular blanket. I highly recommend this product.
