Overpriced!

We had a “WorryNoMore” voucher that we needed to spend and this was the only item that we were able to use with it due to all thee restrictions on the voucher. we haven’t used the umbrella yet

Highly unsafe!!! Beware.

I got this in Feb but it was too cold to be used outside so in March when I set it out for the first time it started to rattle violently with the slightest breeze. The hinge where it is supposed to tilt is flimsy and weak. Then the finale was it being blown away and landing within inches of landscapers working in the yard. Macy’s customer service said they will not refund it but will replace it if the return this back?? This was delivered a month ago! I asked if it can be replaced by another one without the tilt feature as I like the look of it, the associate said that it has to be the exact piece. Here ends my rant. This is my first furniture purchase from Macy’s and will never return given the poor customer service.

Awful product, awful warranty coverage.

Do not buy this umbrella. Our 1 week old umbrella snapped in half from a light breeze and the warranty claim was was denied. Total waste of money and extremely disappointed.

Tilt broke

Tilt feature broke and now the umbrella is useless. Never even used the feature. At this price Macys should carry something that would last longer. Very disappointing

Stays tilted when opened all the way.

It broke right after I bought it but too late to take back to the store. The mechanics to tilt the umbrella broke so it won't stay up straight when it is opened all the way. And...The tilt is very sideways so it's very hard to use. Then it is really hard to close up because you have to hold it straight with one hand while using the crank with the other. Super frustrating. The Wayland dining set is great tho, but the umbrella is defective!!!

Agree with other reviewer

Do not bother to buy. Our's broke within 8 months, right in the hottest days of the summer because the parts are made with very cheap material. The hinge that holds the canopy up is made of cheap plastic/metal composite material. You can snap it with your hands. Living in southern California, we have very mild weather but we still played it safe and closed up the umbrella anytime there's wind blowing because we don't want this huge umbrella to break. We do however expect the umbrella to be able to take normal mild movement. Apparently that was too much for it. Will be calling Macy's to see if warranty covers it. According to the previous reviewer, we may be out of luck!
