Look great but watch out

These shoes look great on and I have not had a chance to wear them out yet but I am noticing when I put them on, the straps in front, where my toes start, are a bit rigid and I can see after some prolonged wear, that part will rub. There is not a lot of give.

The shoes are pretty, and comfortable too. But the criss-cross band in front feels quite tight.

Beautiful but unforgiving....

I bought this espadrille platform in black and in raffia. Both are simply beautiful and well-crafted. While the black pair are extremely confortable, the raffia straps in this platform are unforgiving and do not stretch; they are painful to wear.
