Born in New Orleans and raised on four generations of coffee expertise, our version of this southern favorite combines rich, roasted Arabica coffee beans with high-quality chicory for a bolder, sweeter flavor than coffee alone. We recommend trying it cafe au lait style with steamed milk for a more traditional flavor.

  • Six 12-ounces premium, ground coffee bags
  • Rich and Flavorful
  • Medium-Dark Roast, Medium Brightness, Full Body
  • Made with Select Arabica Coffee
  • Select Arabica Coffee and Chicory
  • Store the Single-serve Cups at Room Temperature, Do Not Remove the Foil Lid as the Cup Will Not Work Properly in the Brewing System and Could Result in Hot Water Burns, Once Brewing Is Complete, Please Remove the Single-serve Cup with Caution
  • Imported

    The chicory

I am addicted to this—it did seems more enjoyable when it was named New Orleans blend! However, it never seems nasty because of the chicory underneath the coffee taste—the bottom note!

    My favorite coffee blend

My grandparents brought me up on au laits made with this blend, my parents always drank it, and now that I live out of state, I order it so I am never without. My teen twins are in love with it, so I suppose we’re technically a fourth generation Community Coffee family. We’ve always used the Toddy to make our batch, and a morning without it simply feels sad and wrong. The flavor is always a bit sweet and warm, rich and deep, a tiny bit like dark chocolate.

    Scared of chicory? Don't be.

This is a very nice mix, and one I would recommend to anyone wishing to try out chicory flavor for the first time. It might inspire you to try full chicory flavor someday, as it did for me.

    Best Coffee Ever

Best Coffee EVER. I started drinking this a few years ago and upon my move to Illinois, had to start ordering through the website as there is no local availability.
