Missing the Classic Jack Purcell

I miss the true classic Jack Purcells that had the embroidered tongue and the blue smile. I also miss not having a choice of colors other than black or white. I had black, white, blue and grey back in the day when the true classic was available. They unfortunately are all worn out. I am glad the nice insole is still there as is the classic smile but in black which makes them lean towards Chucks not Purcells. In my opinion Purcells are much nicer than Chucks, they are more unique and more understated, classier. Would I buy more, only when this pair wears out. If more color choices were available I certainly would purchase more, particularly if the embroidered tongue and blue smile were brought back.

Modified Look

Replaced an older pair and found the new version with a thicker sole and slightly different toe cap rslting ina different profile. Prefer theolder version.

Bad. Just bad.

Horrible quality. Make noise when walking and are not comfortable. Yyeaarrss ago these were good sneakers. No more.

Disappointed

Doesn't have the classic blue sole. Sole is a harder rubber that is loud when you walk. Disappointed.
