I tried to cut a rose out of cotton with steam a seam attached was a big fail. The center part of rose got messed up ruined the fabric piece. maybe cut better on something not so intricate.

This blade works great cutting clean lines on cotton flannel. Love it.

I guess it's my own fault for not doing more research on this instead of just \"assuming\" things. I thought if I bought the blade, housing and fabric mat, I could cut quilting fabric out using my machine. I was wrong. I didn't realize it HAD to be \"bonded\" fabric which sort of defeats my purpose. Yes, bonded is in the title but I didn't know that's what it meant. I wanted to be able to cut out hexagon shapes for making English Paper Piecing quilts and other shapes. Oh well. Guess I'll toss it and the mat aside until I have a project that uses bonded fabric. At least I can still cut out the paper templates.

I really like this blade and housing it seems to cut my projects very clean and lasts longer which is always a plus when cutting a lot of vinyl, paper or card stock you want that clean cut every time. It works great with my maker and explore air 2.
