Defective Quality and Poor Support

I bought the Rag Company LLC suede Oxford loafers through Macy’s and received them on June 18. After only about 10 light wears—mainly standing or sitting at my job—the interior lining of one shoe ripped, and the second shoe is beginning to come apart too. This clearly isn’t normal wear; it’s a manufacturing defect. Despite sending photos to customer service, I was told they couldn’t refund or replace them simply because they’d been worn. That’s not acceptable for a $50 pair of shoes that shouldn’t fall apart so quickly. I’m disappointed—not only by the product’s premature failure, but also by Macy’s disregard for quality issues post-purchase. I wouldn’t recommend these unless you’re okay with them breaking down after just a handful of wears.
