CuisinartChef's Classic Stainless Steel 1.5 Qt. Covered Saucepan

I got two everyday saucepans just to make vegetables for my food. The vegetables are two thirds of lunch / dinner although if one eats meat in America now, at least in Maryland, - I never smell meat - but I'm making the meat - with these saucepans conducting, caramelizing at the speed that the Cuisinart's do. The top balances well at half or a quarter and full is like a pressure cooker. well ; no wonder we lived in a house, we (all) must eat turmeric to live and red pepper, and I made Brinjal today. American's don't know what to do with Brinjal. Well it’s just like your carrots, but don’t boil it. I had some woman ask me, as I looked at some food in the market, c2010, "What do YOU do with it?" But it felt like being tarred as is anathema to make food as a woman. But not doing so makes all unhealthy as all are nowadays.

I thought the too was glass, but it's metal, No wonder no one says anything, there is nothing to say the pan si effective, the glass was less so. After using it fir eight days, I can't quite, well I don't notice, it shuts so well moves like one piece, will sit parallel upside down when off the dish, without tipping, even at full boil nothing eill seep. The handle feels better, one's thumb rests; lifting is less noticeable. And One and a half quart means something else I think, in that there is bigger gap on top, after 4 cups, an additional cup, - a heat measure perhaps. Superb.

Upgrade from older model = 👌

Purchased to replace older version. At first, did not like the solid lid as previous one came with glass that allowed viewing. However, having the solid lid has other advantages for us such as a lid for growing sprouts indoors without light getting in. Love the size and versatility.

Bad quality

After first use i see some tiny black spot i tried to clean it but it steel there. I want to return it but i can't because i didn't keep the box.

Perfect pot

Nice size pot with lid that drains liquids. Mostly use for pastas and warming soups or water. My only complaint is I did want a non glass lid which the picture or description doesn’t specify that the lid is glass. Will end up keeping anyway.
