Our Main Kitchen Appliance

The Perfect Temp Cordless Electric Kettle is my main kitchen appliance. We use it all day! Mornings for coffee, tea and instant oatmeal. Lunch for ramen cups and adding liquids to soups and broths on the stove. I can't live without mine and I love the different settings for my different needs.

Rust/lid won’t open

I bought this kettle three years ago and has 2 good years of use. However, the lid began to get stuck and now won’t open. I also noticed rust started to develop around the lid rim. I’m disappointed that it didn’t last longer and now the price has gone up $60 from what I originally paid.

It really is Perfect Temp!

I really am impressed. This is by far the best water kettle I have ever bought. My wife and I enjoy that we can have our coffee just the right temp that each of us can enjoy.

Very dangerous flaw!

Bought new a few years ago. Worked as advertised for a couple years. Now the unit has started boiling uncontrollably even if no buttons are pressed. In searching online, I see that this failure mode is so common as to be nearly inevitable, leading to enormous risks when the unit fails to stop heating. I do not recommend buying this dangerous kettle.

Why not cool to the touch?

Well made and performs well. For its size and weight, I think it should be insulated so the sides are not hot. Our coffee making area is small, and I'm worried someone will get burned.
