Electric tea kettle

My new electric tea kettle is a very welcome addition to my kitchen. Easy to use, I am savoring my morning cup of instant coffee and afternoon chai.

Don't buy

Faulty kettle leaked hot water all over first time use. Leaking from bottom directly on power cables. Boxed up but then told To get refund I had to submit photo of cut cable. Took charging unit apart to recycle and showed that in photo, did not give me my refund. Resubmitted new photo after assembling unit and cutting cable, still waiting for refund 1 week later. Why am I responsible for waste produced by Cuisinart.

Cuisinart Electric Kettle

While I like the efficiency of the electric kettle. I don’t like how loud it is. The whole house doesn’t need to know I’m boiling water. I wonder if better insulation would make it less loud.

Quick & Quiet

Perfect temperature for each setting. Works efficiently and quietly. Wish I had bought this years ago instead of trying the other electric kettles, which boil the water and don't seem to want to shut off.

NOT FOR EVERYONE

The kettle model is CPK-17P1. This is probably new updated version. No problem with buttons after 2 min, the kettle shuts off automatically with the "bib" sound. My personally concerns are: unable to wash its interior properly even with the hand size XS , very narrow . The time to boil full kettle is 5 min, not so fast as my cheaper Kalorik did. Otherwise beautiful design. Will see how long the kettle works
