Inferior to the older CPT-160.
We owned an earlier version of this toaster (CPT-160) for almost ten years, and it worked well until the arm broke off. Based on our experience, I purchased the new version of this model (CPT-160P1) last week. We're very disappointed. This product is clearly inferior to the version we owned before--more cheaply made, flimsier, with a strange wire-burning smell. I'm already afraid that the arm will break off before we've owned it for a month. Will be returning this one.

Bent when we got it
After using it 2 times the bar that raises the toast "basket" stopped coming up. Looks like it was bent when we got it.
