Lightweight!
This toaster feels cheaper than the previous one my wife and I were using. The drop lever is touchy and one has to push slowly for it to catch. We expect this toaster will not last as long as our previous one.

A Pale Substitute for the Original
Sorry, we owned an earlier version of this same model, which broke after many years. The replacement is a cheaply made substitute for the original. But it seems to me that you must know that. In any case, we returned it and purchased a Breville two-slice toaster, which is a much more substantial product.

Darkness knob is very loose, which makes it hard to adjust. After using toaster daily for two weeks, it still has a hot smell of plastic or hot wires. I don’t know that I feel like it’s safe to keep.
