This food processor is what I have been dreaming of and didn't know it. It has more power than most people's home theater systems and can process food faster than your bank processes overdraft fees. The slicer and grating attachments have been perfect. They've helped with everything that the blade couldn't. If you want to impress your mom or another person who doesn't know they need this, get them it.

I had a 40 year food processor that I rarely used but this is a dream machine. I've made hummus, diced, chopped, and sliced vegetables, shredded cheese, ground nuts, and it does it all quickly and efficiently.

I replaced my original one from the 70's with this one and LOVE it! The large capacity is awesome! Held enough for me to process ingredients for a 9 inch cheese cake without spillage and it's super easy to clean!! Can't wait to try processing bread dough in this thing which was not possible with my old one.

I have been a Cuisinart customer for many years. Coffee makers, food processors, etc. Never have I come across a product with such poor design. It does the food processiong part just fine with good results. The problem is attaching and removing the work bowl. Very, very difficult. You either have to pound it wth the heel of your hand or use a rubber mallet. I'm not exagerating. This is true. I've seen other revioews of this model with the same complaints. Is anyone awake at Cuisinart? Returned the next day.

I was apprehensive after reading some of the reviews especially the one that mentioned liquid coming out of it when you are blending. I have had no such issue and have used it several times in several ways. It washes well in the top rack of the dishwasher.

I'm a beginner baker, and this was very easy to operate. Great quality construction, and would recommend this to any user, beginner or advance. I've had other Cuisinart products so I'm familiar with their quality.
