This new replacement Cuisinart brewer is performing and doing the job very well after 4 weeks of daily usage in our house. Compared to the 10 year old model which it replaced: there are more plastic parts where there used to be sturdier metal, it is noisier than the old model as it seems to be heating the water as it is brewing and not pre-heating immediately when you power the brewer on (positive here is that you don't have to wait a single moment after powering on to brew), you can't remove the water reservoir for refilling while the unit is brewing as it needs a constant water feed to brew, the blue light on water tank side is no longer there. This brewer is working just as well as the older model, but I do miss the differences mentioned above and given the noise and plastic parts I'm skeptical of it lasting 10+ years.

Great Coffeemaker
I bought this coffeemaker after visiting friends who have one identical. I love it but it is very noisy while brewing. That is the only complaint I have!

Used to be my favorite
I have purchased 9 of these coffee makers over the years because of their reliability. In the last 2 years I've gone through 4 of them. 2 of the 4 didn't last for more than 10 cups. One of them started malfunctioning when I was running water through it for cleaning when it was first turned on. I managed to make that one limp along for 15 or 20 pods but that was it before the lid switch completely failed. The other would explode the pods and make a mess whenever it was used. All of the normal tricks of cleaning the needles and poking a small hole in the pod didn't help at all. I don't know what happened to Quality Control at Cuisinart but it isn't working. Those went in the trash and I'm on the hunt for a new favorite coffee maker.

What took me so long to switch
I have had many coffee machine brands and with each one disappointment in performance! So, I decided to switch I have several other Cuisinart appliances and gadgets and have been pleased. And I am not disappointed with my new single serve Cuisinart coffee machine. Water heats quickly, easy to operate with several settings. The design very pleasing to the eye and doesn’t take much space on counter. Enjoying making coffee again!

Premium Single Serve Brewer
What's not to like, superior product with 3 year warranty. My Cuisinart K-cup single server coffee maker failed after 2 years use, and Cuisinart replaced it under warranty in 72 hours. That is just phenomenal. My pervious single serve, pump unit coffee maker lasted 12 years. Cuisinart is a quality company that stands by their products.

Coffee Lover
I purchased this coffee maker because of the 15 years of flawless service I had with my previous Cuisinart. The water tank light stopped working on this one after only 3 days, so that was disappointing. It's a little slow, taking 90 seconds to brew a 10 oz cup of coffee. Other than that it works as expected.
