Too must rust

Not sure why. But I noticed the lid holds a lot of rust when you cook, I dry it to the fullest, storage it with lid 9ff. Made soup n took the lid off to find rust sitting on top if my soup. Will not buy this to late to return, I have clean it a million times, no rush but when you hit it up the rust comes back. Very disappointed
