Stunning!

I had no idea since I am not a pearl expert by any means, that white south sea pearls are the most valuable of all pearls because of their large size, limited culturing area, and extended growth period. I selected them because I was looking for a gray toned pearl to match my David Yurman bracelet. I tried them on and they looked different than any other pair of pearls I have. Thankfully they had a sale the day I got them because I couldn't pay the full price and I just couldn't leave the store without them. The color is a soft light gray, they have a great luster and reflectivity, and they pop nicely even when I have my hair down. My dark Tahitian pearls tend to disappear when my hair is down although my hair color is light to medium blonde. All in all for me it was a splurge since I do own other pairs, but this one is simply stunning!
