I bought it as present for my daughter and she opened it on Christmas day. The tiny tag came off when she tried it on and it got lost with all the Christmas wrappings. It was chunky and didn't look right on her so I returned it the next day. Return lines were huge and they seemed understaffed. The store clerk gave me a hard time - even with the box and on-line receipt and it being a Macys piece with plenty of days to be returned. Gabriela at the Int'l Miami store counter was cold, Jose the manager had a peacock attitude as well. Macys customer service is not what it once was and being a platinum card holder for 20+ years means nothing to them.
Macy's customer service is dead.
To be fair the pendant is very pretty and a good size for a woman who wants a beautiful understated piece. HOWEVER, the chain clasp arrived broken. I ordered this a month away from Christmas and after a few days I went to wrap it and took it out of the box to discover that the item had undoubtedly shipped broken to me from the manufacturer. The very next day after discovering this I took it in to a Macy's store. I was then treated very poorly by the lady behind the counter and forced to decide whether or not I would accept their offer to replace the whole thing in two weeks, which would have put their expected delivery date as Christmas Eve. After leaving the store upset and disappointed, I decided to try discussing the matter with customer service online using their chat. Though the fella was nicer and more apologetic, Macy's awful customer service policies did not permit any form of solution that would help other than wait with the hope that it would arrive on time.
