Beautiful Leather Sofas - questionable ergonomics

I purchased the 2 & 3 piece set back in 12/23. Macy’s furniture store in Pleasanton did not have this model on the showroom floor I loved the way it looked in Navy so I purchased it because the salesman told us we could return it within 3 days. After delivery I noticed damage to the end unit. The end unit did not open and close fully. Upon further inspection I noticed one of the legs were broken. I called Macy’s and it was promptly replaced. Second problem these sofas sit very low so my wife had difficult getting in and out of the sofa. I ordered 2” high pads and that solved that problem. This is a very natural sitting height for me. Third problem. My wife and I started noticing tailbone pain. I never had this problem with our Lazy Boy recliner and couches. When I sit on my Lazy Boy recliner now I noticed my weight is on my buttocks and backrest like it should be. Be aware that if you ever had lower back pain to steer clear of these. Cheers !
