This beautiful teak cheese and serving set is another high quality item from Dansk. I grew up using Dansk because my mother loved their dishes, linens, silverware, wooden products and cast iron pots, so I am used to the Dansk standards of beautiful design and superior, long-lasting products. The teak board is flawlessly made, easy to clean, and even though I have used mine sometimes daily for several years it continues to look absolutely brand new. The cutting knife which comes with the board is unusual in that it has a fresh, modern shape, and is not the standard, boring knife that is associated with a cheese board. It is easy to use, and due to the rounded shape at the bottom of the knife a rocking motion is used, which stops cheese from taking flight across the room. My board is used often for cheese "tastings" to try new cheeses, and using it makes the occasion festive, fun, and not like "every day" because it is so beautiful. When I use it the table looks prettier, and I know I am making a nice presentation. Due to the functionality and beauty of this Dansk product I have purchased it repeatedly to give the set as gifts, especially to men, because it is a classic, tasteful, choice.

Great cheese board
I was surprised to see this cheese board still being sold. I received this same set as a gift 30 years ago and I have used it regularly ever since. I love it and I love the knife that goes with it.
