super sturdy

very good construction. super sturdy. no squeaking. no wobbling. good price. I wish the headboard was another 12 inches lower than what it is. The fabric upholstered, wood panel and leather upholstered, they are all great. NEED TO REDUCE THE HEIGHT OF THE HEADBOARD. Majority of the customers here don't have big houses.

Beautiful bed but squeaky

I bought this bed because of how beautiful it is and was so excited to get it. The first bed we got delivered was squeaky with even the most sensitive moving around. I called customer service and they came out to "fix" it and basically told me to just "put a rug underneath because the laminate flooring was making it squeaky". I bought felt pads for it and it still squeaked so I had to call them back out to replace it. They sent another repairman out 3 weeks later and they only replaced the side rails. The bed continued to squeak so I had to call them again and this time they only brought the headboard and replaced that. This is the 2nd bed and it is still squeaky so at this point I will just add padding wherever I need to just so I dont have to deal with it anymore. One more note, we have dogs so we had to use a bunkie board instead of a boxspring because it sat way too high for them to jump on and off of it.

Upset

I had a delivery scheduled. I received a confirmation of the time frame. I called to see if they were running behind. They just took me off the schedule. No call. If I didn’t call I would not even know this. How is this a professional way to run business

Beautiful furniture!

The furniture looks beautiful in our Master Bedroom. We purchased 5 pieces and it all came in without a scratch. Very solid furniture! We did purchase the “White Glove Delivery” and it was worth every penny. Julio & Angel were OUTSTANDING! They were super sweet and professional and left no mess/boxes on their way out. We will be purchasing from Macy’s Furniture again!

Very nice dressers!

We purchased 2 of this dresser to place side by side instead of a chest. Looks great together and I love the height. Its just a few inches taller than some other dressers. 39 inches instead of 36. Makes a beautiful wall unit in the bedroom. Dresser color is very nice and the drawers are good size and slide open nicely. Over all very pleased with this purchase.

Not solid wood. Shipping NIGHTMARE

Ordering was a breeze. The item is ok, but NOT SOLID WOOD. Drawers open and close ok. Make sure you screw handles all the way. Screws are a bit short. Item is for sale on other sites and those all mention this is not solid wood. Looks like site pic. But shipping is a circus. You cannot speak to anyone in the US. Representatives in India are pleasant but there isn't anything they can help with. Macy's site said order was delivered the first week, but it had not even been picked up by UPS. I called customer service 4 times over the next few weeks and there really isn't anything they can do. It gets here when it gets here They don't know if item is sitting in US or India. Without any warning, the two nightstands were delivered at my front door today. One with a big hole in the box - as well as in the back of the nightstand. I'm so disgusted after a month, that I just put it in the room. I can't go through that hassle again.

Wrong description requires a box spring

As another reviewer pointed out and saved us, this bed does require box spring. Fortunately caught the issue in time and will be canceling our order. I actually verified in store thst this requires box spring.
