Well made Atlantis series. Rubber seal on bottom sits well on Atlantis pot. My Chinese broccoli steamer is now where it belongs... in the trash. Beautiful and well made. Just like the other Deyeyere Atlantis set I own.

3 qt, 18/10 Stainless Steel Steamer insert

As of 8/4, I still haven't used the steamer insert. I am waiting for shipment of a Demeyere Atlantis cookware set, hopefully to be delivered by the end of August. The cookware was purchased for use with a new induction stove, to be installed 8/11. So, I must be patient. Unfortunately, I will have no induction cookware till the end of August. I may need to find a pot or 2 to temporarily use on the induction stovetop.

Same great quality as my Atlantis pan! It has welded handles, durable stainless steel and a rubber gasket assures it seals to my pan not allowing any steam to escape. Perfect for steaming vegetables or warming rolls.

Ample Space Steamer!

This insert is so handy. The rubber seal keeps steam from escaping and ensures that its contents get an even cook. It's great for veggies, seafood, dumplings, and even desserts such as flans. I normally use this on a daily basis, steaming vegetables and fish. Perfect for buns and few deserts delicacy my family loved such as steaming "leche flan, steam rice cake, cassava, plantains, and few more family recipe dish. As interesting as it is, I could use this to cook pasta too since I have a wider pot or a wider dutch oven for this insert to fit inside and use as pasta insert. Absolutely my favorite steamer insert, versatile! This steamer insert fits to a couple of Demeyere Dutch Oven as well as a variety of Zwilling pots and pans. It has stainless steel that won't warp when it gets heated and the handles stay cool, making removal a snap. It is also dishwasher, oven, and broiler safe up to 500F. It is manufactured with premium quality stainless steel, won't rust and corrosion-resistant and easy to clean, dishwasher safe!

All of the Demeyere inserts are made in Belgium made to the excellent standards that is required and expected from Demeyere. This steamer insert is a great addition to any kitchen. I use mine to make clam linquini, the steamer cooks the clams over the boiling pasta which not only saves time and space on my cooktop but lessens the clean up.
