Nice jeans but big and baggy

These fit very large. I always wear a 16 petite for this last year. I needed wide leg jeans to upgrade with the trends. They look ok when I hold them up but when I put them on they fit like baggy pajamas. They work ok for relaxing or working around the house. But I’d feel silly wearing them out in public. Democracy brand usually fits on the small side in straight leg or skinny jeans but not these. The size is a miss. So size down or your pants will practically fall down like a clown jeans. I had a busy month waited too long to return. So now I am sad these are not inexpensive jeans and I always counted on this brand to have a nice fit. They have decent size pockets and thiner stretchy denim so they are not a thick bulky denim.
