[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been wanting to update my front porch light. The light had to be white and must be motion activated. This outdoor light had all the requirements I was looking for.
I was very happy when I received the light, it’s a very appealing design and the white color goes great with any siding color. The item was well packaged and came with an easy to read instruction manual. I would say that if this is your first time installing a light fixture, I’d definitely have someone else whose already done this before guide you. Or to watch a couple YouTube videos. My husband was very happy with how fast it was to install. We did have to use the screws from our old fixture to put the base on, but the company does provide everything you need for installing it ( besides the screwdriver).
Like I said above, the design is quite nice. It’s been well put together, nothing was loose and I didn’t notice any manufacturing defects. The white color paint also looks great, with no drips or discolored areas.
This light is motion activated. It has a switch for motion sensitivity and a switch for how long to stay on once activated. I definitely had to play around with the settings, due to the fact we live near a busy road and I didn’t want it going off every time a car passed. I also love how the light goes off during daylight hours and will automatically come on at twilight. It does stay on all night, but it’s a very dim glow and when activated get super bright. I would have liked the option to have it go off completely, but the dim light does have the benefit of helping us when coming home in the dark.
So far I’m happy with this light fixture and can’t wait to see how it does in the winter months. A company that I’ll definitely use in the future and recommend.
