Tangled necklace

The chain was knotted up when I pulled it from the box that was placed in an envelope and shipped to me. I took it to a jewelry store to repair/untangle it & ultimately I had to purchase a new chain. Additionally I ordered an 18 inch necklace (thats what the descriptions said) and I received a 16 inch necklace. Macy's offered me 10 dollars for my troubles.
