I love DKNY dresses. The cut is always spot on and flattering. The fabric is thick and high quality. I LOVE the weight of the fabric as it has the slimming effect. And for this particular dress, I love the shape of the skirt and the overlay fabric makes it unique. I feel that the arm hole is a bit tight but I can live with that!
Beautiful color
This fit and flare dress has been lovely for fall. The color is a deep rich shade of aubergine and the fabric is heavy (scuba like) and textured, which makes it very unique. (The dress is lined.) The seaming and the flared skirt make for a very flattering cut. I love the pockets! This dress is appropriate for both an evening out or work (or both!), and with a short jacket will be a great addition to the winter dresses.

Great fit, very complimentry. I am 5’3”, 140# the size 8fits good, I could maybe have done the 6. I have received many compliments every time I have worn this dress. In cooler weather I paired it with a black boyfriend jacket. The only downfall is it’s dry clean only recommended.
Could be better...
The aubergine color is very pretty but the mesh materiel is a little weird. The dress itself fits really well and feels very comfortable, kind of like fleece. It has the flare and doesn't lose its shape but awkward when sitting in it. It has pockets which are okay but not necessary. I have to be careful with the zipper so it doesn't catch the material and I cannot zip it up all the way by myself. The mesh materiel is very different to me and I don't think I am a fan of it.
Just ok
The best feature of this dress is the fit and flare style which compliments most body types. It is a style that accentuates the waist, stays in place and conceals problem areas if you are heavier below the waist like me. It is true to size and the added spandex makes for a comfortable fit. The color of this dress is nice for fall and the fabric is a lot heavier than my other dresses. Overall, the dress is well made however, I do not care for this fabric. It is rough and does not fit the delicate styling of fit and flare dresses. It is better suited for something more casual. Because the fabric is heavier don’t even think about wearing this unless it is cold outside. I wore recently and felt like I was wearing a blanket.
Comfortable and stylish
This is the first dress I have worn with this kind of material, at first I have to say iit looked like it would be bulky, uncomfortable and would not fit right, but once I tried it on to my surprise it felt very confortable, love the pockets. it fits great looks very stylish, I love it! i recommend you try it on, you will love it too.
Fantastic Flattering Fit!
I love the simple elegance of this dress, and it's amazing how the flared skirt seems to make my waistline smaller! Magic! And the flare holds its shape, too, because the fabric it's made of is textured and a bit on the stiff side. It doesn't look at all stiff, and the lining inside is super soft and stretchy. The fabric keeps the dress in its flared shape, and that's part of the reason why it is so figure flattering. My dress arrived on a hanger in a generously sized box, and was wrinkle free, ready-to-wear. Just add a strand of pearls and a tiny cropped jacket, and this dress is ready for a date-night dinner. I ordered the purple, and it's rich and deep. The shade of purple is not "grapey" - as shades of purple go, this one is toward the red end of the scale. Some particulars: I'm 5'10, size 14, and this dress was perfectly proportioned for my height.
Pleasantly surprised
This dress is so not what I imagined. At first impression I noticed the sponge like material under the mesh and thought this is weird . But once I tried it on I loved how it kept its flare shape and it didn’t feel heavy or uncomfortable. The color is a deep purple and would be great for the upcoming holiday parties.
