Very odd sweater

This sweater doesn't seem like a sweater. It has an odd sheen particularly visible on the seams, almost like it has plastic in the fabric. The stripes are unflattering and baggy in the midsection, which is more obvious with the dolman sleeves . Not a good look, somewhere between a prisoner and basketball ref. I tried it with jeans, black pants, and a skirt. Nope.
