Zipper Failed

This was my mother of the bride dress. Truly “the one” out of at least 20 others I tried. The Fit was almost perfect. It was a little too big under my arm on the zipper side. Unfortunately, the teeth of the zipper gave way before the Bride’s first dance about 45 minutes into the reception. The zipper could not be moved from its top position. I had to be sewn into the dress during the reception and cut out to take it off that night! Fabric was great for travel as it did not wrinkle in my cross country flight. And the hemming was not a huge expense. So, beautiful dress but a true failure for one of the biggest nights of my life.
