Extremely oversized and long!

This is a well-made and nicely styled dress with a lining. The color is off-white. I am 5'6" and typically dress lengths are perfect for me. I took the dress out of the box and saw immediately that it was huge and was almost at my ankles! The picture does not show this and the length is not noted in the description. Because of the cost of alterations. especially with a lining, I would not have ordered this dress had I known. I returned it.
