Comfy but break down quickly

I have bought a few pairs of these. They are so cute. But they just dont hold up well. I do wear them daily for work. But I have a desk job. Within 6 months they start looking pretty shabby. They are very comfortable, I just wish they were made better. I'd like to at least get a years worth of wear out of them
