I took a chance and ordered these despite the reviews about the velcro. Happy to say they must have updates the design it is mor more like a stretchy band. I put these on and my feet were happy. I feel like they run a little big and I need to size down to 8.5

Cute but strap not secure
Shoe is cute and could be comfortable. But with every step the velcro straps would pop off.

Velcro doesn't work, not worth the buy :,(
These are super cute and comfy! True to size. The velcro is a joke though, super disappointing. I'm gluing a snap, hoping I can still use these shoes because I'm obsessed! At this price point, the closure should NOT be a problem!

Cute chunky mary janes
The fit was exactly what I was expecting, and I ordered them on the smaller side of my usual size range (7 instead of 7.5) so they'd be snug. These have that classic Dr. Scholls comfort that I really like. Others are right about the Velcro closure, but so far I haven't had any issues with it coming undone while walking. They're comfortable for standing, but there's not enough to flex for them to be considered "comfortable" for walking very far. Great for me as a teacher on days I mostly stay in my own classroom. They work with soamy outfits!

Awesome Shoe, Wish Strap was longer/adjustable
I love these shoes! They are super comfortable straight out of the box, not too heavy, even with the platform bottom, and look so good. My only reason to drop a star is because of the Velcro strap. I wish the strap was a bit longer and allowed for a bit more adjustment. Because I cannot connect the hook and loop completely, the strap does occasionally pop open. This only happens when I stress the strap a lot, but it's still a bit cumbersome to deal with.
