Velcro
The velcro doesn't stay together. It comes undone when you walk.

These shoes are so cute and so comfy! Cute and quirky. These have the actual buckle on the strap, not velcro so they stay on great. I definitely recommend!

Cute and comfortable
Very cute color and design! Very comfortable on the arch...a bit snug in the toes but as I wore them it got better. Finally a trendy and comfortable shoe!

Super cute
These are very cute platform mary janes. I ordered the black in a size 6 (EUR36). I'm a pretty true to size 6, narrow/medium width. They're comfortable with the platform, and they even have soft little cushions on the inner back part so it doesn't dig into your ankle. These came with adjustable NON-velcro buckle straps

Cute but not as advertised
I was so excited to get these shoes, but when they arrived, I was sad to see they closed with Velcro instead of the advertised buckle. The Velcro makes them feel much more likely to fall off at any moment. They are really comfortable and super cute. I just wish they were as advertised.

STILL VELCRO BUCKLE
Extremely disappointed. I got these after reading reviews saying the Velcro was no longer being used because I knew I was going to be hard on my shoes (NYC subway system) so getting them only to see they ARE Velcro & not the functional buckle feels not only like I was mislead but that I was swindled. Maybe they are sending out the Velcro because of the sale price. Either way I will be returning.
