Not properly expanding

The instructions say to open it and place it on a flat surface for 48hrs. I opened mine and it's been open and on a flat surface for almost a week and it has not fully expanded. Many parts of it is still flat. I'm uncertain what to do at this point. I refuse to put it on my bed this way but idk if I can force back in the box to return it for a replacement. I hate returning items that takes too much energy, time and effort.

This topper should have fully and evenly expanded within 48-hours of being opened. Since this is not the case for you, we will gladly help you get a replacement topper or work with you to find another solution.
