Really comfortable right out of the box

I had purchased the Clark's Vargo Chukka and while that shoe was really comfortable, I like the look of the Seneca a lot better. With the memory sole, these are as comfortable, if not more so than the Clark's, which have been returned. As far as size, the Eastland website says to choose the same size as you would wear in "casual shoes". I'm a 9 dress shoes and a 10 in sneakers and initially bought the Seneca in a 9, which was definitely too small. The 9.5 fits well with dress socks or even polyester athletic socks, but if I wanted to wear warm winter socks, the 10 would be better. Haven't tried them in rain, but will be cautious given other reviewers experiences.

Great pair of shoes

Very good leather, well made.. Took a couple of times wearing them to get them to start feeling really good They are perfect now.

Nice, But!!!

These were well made. I bought them for my son who has a large wide foot. Unfortunately these ran small and narrow. Had to return them.
