Narrow and useless in rain

These pinched my wide feet and my socks were damp pretty quickly in a light rain, definitely NOT water repellent. I wish I hadn't bought these, a total waste of money for me.

Nice Looking.

Fit great. Just harder to get on than I like. Also they are waterproof but since they aren't all leather my feet always feel damp.

Pleased with the ankle support

I really do enjoy these boots. I just wish I had purchased them a half size bigger. I have worn them every weekend since purchase and I am very pleased with how it supports my ankles while hiking. Since the weather is cold now, I also noticed that my feet are still warm. And my feet have stayed dry too!

Comfortable but cuts into the ankle

These boots are really comfortable. However, the height of them hit right at the ankle where if you tried to go up stairs, they cut into you. I loosened enough at the top so it didn't do it so much when I walked but then they but in at the back. I have had other hiking boots that didn't do this. My spouse wears hiking boots everyday and he told me not to buy a pair that cuts into the ankle as they would never get better. So I returned them.....reluctantly.

So comfortable once you get them on.

These boots are difficult to put on. However, once they are on - they are super comfortable. Wore them everyday for a week on a recent trip to Africa and they were great.

Happy Hiker

My boots arrived today after being told by Macy's that it might be back ordered. The boots feel great on my feet. I can't wait to try them out on a walk. Did I mention that they are size 11W? A hard to find size. I'm a happy hiker!
