Almost Perfection

These boots are really cute in person. I ordered them without having seen them in person, so I wasn't sure if they would be too clunky or heavy but they are just great. My normal size 9 fit perfectly, even though I often have to size up to 9.5 in boots (boot socks take up room!) and the Ecco brand doesn't have a true half size in their range. I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy but relatively lightweight these are. They don't look like men's boots on my feet and still feel feminine but practical for cold weather and walking long distances. The only reason I can't give it a full 5 star review is that the inside of the ankle area is finished slightly roughly, so if you don't have socks that cover this area, it rubs and scratches. That limits the looks you can pull off with these, but I'm still keeping them!
