Grey not Taupe!

Very disappointed after ordering 3 sets to see that the color is grey not taupe. It is not even a greyish brown. In the picture is looks like the cups are colored taupe on the inside. They are all white with grey lines on the outside. I usually order 1 set first but due to Friends and Family discount ordered 3 sets which had to lugged back to Macys to return.

I ordered two sets of this on black friday , the set is beautiful , big, and good to use everyday. I've been using it since it arrive(we) made strong set).

After a long search for the perfect set of dishes,

These are just what I wanted as far as color, style and quality. Very nicely made and the Taupe is really just a nice cream or off white. To me the striping detail adds just that touch of interest. The "love" word on the backside is a cute touch, although sitting on my shelf, my eye keeps thinking its a mark or flaw. I'll get used to that. I will say, if you are tight on space, you might want to pay attention to measurements. My husband's first comment while opening the set was "the plates are huge!'. Actually they are less then 3/4 inch wider than our old set but they just look really large. The bowls are also large and a little more shallow than i expected, but not enough so that I would return it. The mugs are big too, so needless to say, It is a big set! If your looking for delicate, go with China because this will not be the set for you. I think its will be perfect for everyday use, and its not as clunky as stoneware. Very well packaged, nothing was damaged!
