maybe a production mistake

I have no idea how to tie this top, one string is onn the inside right and the other outside left, they dont wrap all around, ive tried so many variations, it does not look like the picture. Material is nice but i think there was a genuine error with how it was made. it does not tie on the outside without the inside string pulling up the shirt from the back, i wouldnt reccomend
