Rubies are lead glass filled.

Beware if purchasing at a store, I was told that the rubies were compleatly natural and untreated. When looking fo information a taken to a professional gemologist, I got the surprise that the rubies were lead filled and that the rings true value is 50% less that what it has been sold for. Its a nice ring, but so sad that eventually the rubies will loose their shine due to the low durability of the treatment.

I AM IN LOVE

I don’t know why people are so obsessed with diamond. this ruby ring is the jam! I get so many compliments on it . I generally hate rings that don’t have a solitaire stone. The fact that this ring is comprised of many small rubies actually makes it more interesting. I see a variety of basic red to deep purple hues in each stone. I have, historically, not been the biggest fan of Effy’s craftsmanship lately, however they have hit a home run with this ring!

Mikeys ruby stone

At first I didn’t know it was going to fit but I did and I love it a lot. I’m a cancer from the horoscopes and ruby is my birth stone so I hope it gives me a lot of love and hope

Buyer beware

This is really a beautiful ring and I've appreciated it and worn it frequently. I've had it for 2 or 3 months now and noticed one of the tiny rubies fell out. I've also bought my lady a mystic topaz ring and on the 3rd day of wearing it the stone fell off without her even noticing it. With some hard words and talking, Macy's agreed to mail her a new ring. She did receive it and all is well with that. I'm not sure if I have to bring this ring back to Macy's or go to Manhattan where Effy's headquarters is. I've read stories of similar shoddy work on review boards and now I'm also one of those people who sadly has to say - be weary when buying Effy jewelry. Quality control has gone down hill. I have many Effy pieces but I don't think I'll ever buy one again.

The ruby men's ring in real life is a stunner. Picture above does not do it justice. Really glad I made the (expensive) purchase

Great Looking Ring

I've worn this ring a few times already and it looks great. The fit is very comfortable and the size is perfect. I would recommend.
